Our History
Alpha-Care Health Professionals, LLC, headquartered in Champaign, Illinois was originally a branch office of Alpha Christian Registry founded in 1979 as a local nurse staffing agency. The organization soon became a licensed and accredited regional provider of private duty home care, pediatric and adult skilled care and supplemental health care staffing.
In 2004, a local group of healthcare and business professionals acquired the Champaign location and the company name changed to Alpha-Care Health Professionals, LLC. Since that time, Alpha-Care has experienced significant growth and currently has branch offices in Bloomington, Charleston, Danville, Decatur, Yorkville as well as Covington, Indiana. We hope to continue to add one new location each year.
Our Mission
Alpha-Care Health Professionals’ mission is to contribute to the improvement of the health and well being of individuals we serve through the provision of quality home health, personal care, and supplemental staffing services in a manner that demonstrates excellence to the community. We shall accomplish this through the consistent provision of professional, compassionate and reliable service to all those we serve.

Professional Management Team
Alpha-Care has a veteran administrative team that has significant healthcare and business experience. Our organization and caregivers are all covered under our professional liability and worker's compensation policies. Employment Standards
- Competency: All employees must meet pre-employment screening, testing and competency requirements.
- CPR Certification: All clinical staff must be CPR certified.
- Characteristics: All our employees are expected to be responsive, reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, and professional.
- Team Player: All Alpha-Care employees are team players and know that communication and coordination of actions determine the team's level of effectiveness in meeting our clients' needs and goals.
- Continuing Education: All employees are expected to maintain current knowledge in their respective field. In-services and seminars are offered periodically by Alpha-care to assist the employee in this endeavor.
