- Home Care Job Opportunities
Alpha-Care has home care employment opportunities for RN's, LPN's, CNA's and experienced private duty aides. The majority of our home care opportunities for RN's and LPN's involve care for medically fragile technology dependent children as part of an in-home pediatric program. We also have intermittent nursing assignments caring for adult patients. CNAs, as well as experienced private duty aides, will have significant opportunities to work with the infirm or chronically ill patients who require assistance with daily living activities. Many of the home care opportunities involve four, eight or even twelve-hour visits and this gives you the opportunity to develop a real bond with your client and their family.
- Relief and Supplemental Staffing Opportunities
Alpha-Care has over 30 institutional clients that utilize us for their temporary staffing needs. We have hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and other providers as regular users of our staffing services. - Comprehensive Orientation
Upon your hire you will participate in complete orientation to Alpha-Care covering our clinical and personnel policies and procedures. Additionally, upon accepting a home care assignment you will receive a thorough client specific orientation, including an opportunity to update or learn new clinical skills, as needed. Alpha-Care provides our relief staff with information about the facility[s] where you will be working. Additionally the facility where you are working will provide you with an orientation to the unit you will be working on as well as a verbal report about your assigned patients.
- Ongoing Clinical Support
Alpha-Care's Director of Client Services and our Nurse Case Managers are available to meet with you for clinical consultation. Additionally we have an administrative team dedicated toward supporting you in meeting the needs of our clients.
- In-service Training and Continuing Education
Quarterly in-services are offered on a variety of topics. Home care nurses are invited to participate in periodic case conferences and team meetings to discuss the client's medical progress and conditions within the home. Team members share their clinical knowledge with other members of the team and contribute to each other's professional development.
