Meeting Your Relief and Supplemental Staffing Needs
Alpha-Care Health Professionals has been assisting health care providers meet their temporary staffing needs since our inception in 1979. We have numerous hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, physician offices and assisted living centers that utilize our relief staffing services on a regular basis. We understand that you or your organization would always prefer to meet your staffing needs with your own employees; however, when circumstances create needs that you cannot meet Alpha-Care is glad to help. The Alpha-Care staff is thoroughly screened and references checked prior to employment. Additionally we will work with you to ensure our staff is oriented, as you desire. Your staffing shortages can be efficiently handled with one telephone call, fax or e-mail request to our Champaign office. An Alpha-Care Staffing Coordinator will respond promptly and assist you in meeting your staffing needs. Alpha-Care's phone lines are staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days/week, including weekends and holidays.
Alpha-Care employs qualified registered professional nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nurse aides who have been thoroughly pre-screened and competency tested by our nursing management team. Alpha-Care's staff includes both general duty and specialty nurses to meet your specific staffing needs. Alpha-Care is responsible for ensuring that its nurses and aides participate in required in-services during orientation; and topics required by law or regulation are repeated annually. In addition, continuing education programs are offered to help staff maintain clinical competence.
Alpha-Care accepts staffing requests from all health care providers and assigns qualified staff to assist in meeting specific staffing needs. Alpha-Care's relief and supplemental staffing fees are competitively priced, billed hourly, and based on the staff qualification level requested. A staffing service agreement is required between Alpha-Care and the healthcare facility or business in order to begin using our staffing service.
