Home Care Alpha offers a broad scope of services. Skilled nursing that can include, wound care, ventilator care, chemotherapy, cancer care, rehabilitative care following an injury or stroke. Private duty nurses, aides and or personal care worker for patient in need of extended/ custodial home care services is what Alpha does best. Home Health Visits Alpha Home Health Care, a division of Alpha-Care, provides part-time and intermittent nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and home health aide services to individuals in their place of residence according to a plan of treatment, for illness or infirmity, as prescribed by a physician. These services are provided and billed on a per visit basis, usually 1-2 hours in duration depending on the type and level of care required. Alpha assists you to determine if home health visits are a covered benefit under your health insurance plan. Alpha does not participate as a Medicare or Medicaid provider. Alpha does accept most other insurance. Home health visits are made to provide such service as wound care, Infusion therapy, pain management, post op after-care, rehabilitation and restorative care, new diabetic care and education, skilled nursing assessment and patient/caregiver teaching, mother/baby care/teaching, and assistance with activities of daily living.
Extended Hours / Private Duty Skilled Nursing Alpha provides skilled nursing services on an hourly basis in the safety and comfort of your home for adults, children, and infants. Alpha can also provide a private duty nurse for hospitalized patients. We provide both general and specialty nursing services. If you or someone you know needs a nurse to provide individualized nursing care from 4 - 24 hours/day, up to 7 days/week while at home or while in the hospital, we have highly qualified nurses to meet your individualized and special care needs. Your plan of care is directed and ordered by your doctor. A registered professional nurse will visit to conduct an assessment of the patient and determine the patientís care needs. Our nursing supervisor works with your physician to oversee your care and makes regular visits to your home to provide supervision of the nursing staff and coordination of your services. Alpha skilled nursing care can be provided by a registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse depending on the skills required to provide your care. Your health insurance may include an extended hours or private duty nursing benefit. Alpha will assist you in making that determination and will bill your insurance company directly for your care. You may be required to pay for part of the service, if your insurance requires a deductible or co-pay amount.
Personal Care and Support Services Alpha provides temporary or ongoing assistance with activities of daily living. This service may be needed by you personally, by a loved one or friend. If you or someone you know needs assistance with personal care [bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, walking, medication reminders, eating, toileting, or safety monitoring], Alpha is here to help. In addition to personal care services, Alpha aides can help with homemaking chores, such as meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, shopping, and errands, medical appointments, and companion / sitter service. Alpha is here to meet those needs also. Alphaís certified nurseís aides and private duty aides are caring, skillful, reliable and trustworthy. They are thoroughly screened and tested by our nursing management team. We charge for these services on an hourly basis. You pre-pay for services not covered by insurance, and you can pay by check, money order or credit card. If the service needed is covered by a health or long-term care insurance plan, it may pay for part of our charges. We will assist you in making that determination. |
